1. Service Description

OriginCheck AI provides online plagiarism detection, AI content analysis, text humanization, grammar checking, and paraphrasing services. Our plagiarism detection service processes your documents through the Turnitin system to generate similarity reports and AI writing detection reports.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use our services. By using our services, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these terms.

3. User Accounts

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
• You must provide accurate and complete information during registration
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use our services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You shall not:

• Upload content that infringes upon the intellectual property rights of others
• Use our services to facilitate academic dishonesty or violate your institution's academic integrity policies
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble our services
• Use automated scripts or bots to access our services without prior written consent
• Share your account credentials or allow others to use your account

5. Document Handling

• Documents are processed in "No Repository" mode and are not stored in any plagiarism database
• All uploaded files are automatically deleted within 24 hours
• Detection reports are available for 30 days after generation
• You retain all intellectual property rights to your uploaded documents

6. Payments and Refunds

• Service credits (quota) are deducted at the time of submission
• If a detection fails or times out, credits are automatically refunded to your account
• Purchased credits are non-transferable between accounts
• We accept payment via Alipay and WeChat Pay
• Refund requests for unused credits may be submitted to our support team

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that detection results will be 100% accurate or that our services will be uninterrupted. Detection results should be used as a reference tool and not as the sole basis for academic decisions.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OriginCheck AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services, including but not limited to loss of data, academic consequences, or business interruption.

9. Intellectual Property

The OriginCheck AI website, including its design, logos, text, graphics, and software, is the property of OriginCheck AI and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without prior written consent.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your right to use our services ceases immediately. Any unused credits at the time of termination due to violation of terms may be forfeited.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation or, if necessary, through binding arbitration.
